62.3 million of China’s women are missing from their population due to gender discrimination. $434,000, on average, is missing from every American woman’s lifetime income. Countless numbers of women are missing from nearly every nation’s government. This project explores missing women around the world, visually displaying the void that is left behind with the missing pieces. I also created a website that focuses on income, where women in the United States can determine about how much they might plan to lose over a lifetime.
